The Art Studio Dining Series will be a series of gastronomic and art events that will take place in various Puerto Rican artists studios providing a unique experience for diners and art lovers.
For the first event the ARTwalk (Puerto Rico) and Chef Ariel Rodríguez invite diners to the studio of Ivelisse Jiménez on Saturday August 24, 2019 @ 5:30pm.
Chef Ariel wll be creating a special dinner with wine pairings by sommelier Mario Rodríguez from Plaza Cellars. The menu includes mouthwatering dishes such as; Seafood Terrine with Yuzo Vinaigrette, Steamed Cod, Seared Duck Breast with Quinoa and Tres Leches Mini Cupcakes for dessert.
Ivelisse Jiménez is a renowned artist who has exhibited multiple times in the USA, the Americas and Europe. Her work stems from a passion for abstraction in paintings and installations that dialogue with space. Iveliise uses materials that serve as veils , blurring the pictorial elements and making them translucent forcing viewers to search more intensely for the components and languages that make up the pieces.
The The Art Studio Dining Series seeks to expand the cultural offer in the Island, offering innovative ways to get into the work of our artists, in order to foster a spirit of appreciation, collecting and philanthropy in support of Puerto Rican artists. Each dinner will be a unique experience
