La Burguesia Opens in Districto T-Moible

Artisan burgers are the focal point for the fourth gastronomic concept that opens in the entertainment district.

District T-Mobile announces the opening of its fourth gastronomic concept, La Burguesía restaurant. With an irreverent tone, the restaurant presents a satire to bourgeois society through its gastronomic offerings and design. La Burguesía also as its butcher shop and bakery where they give their unique touch to their handcrafted burgers.

The black angus meat and the brioche bun are the protagonists of the hamburgers, the main dish in La Burguesía, which through its ingredients and exceptional quality, it comes to challenge the most demanding palate with their one-of-a-kind menu.

Regarding meat, William Burn, operator of La Burguesía, mentions “for us quality is very important and freshness so we bring fresh cuts, never frozen, to make ground beef of excellence in our Butcher shop”. Regarding bread, in search of a distinctive option, and in collaboration with the artisanal and local bakery Horno de Pane, created an exclusive brioche bun for La Burguesía; characteristic for being butter-based with a smooth texture and a flavor with a sweet touch

Some of the main hamburgers are El Principe de Asturias whose main ingredients are Serrano Ham, Gruyère Cheese, Arugula and Truffle Oil and El Capataz that stands out for its Caramelized Yellow Onions, Goat Cheese, Bacon, Cilantro Mayonnaise and an Apple and Green Pepper Vinaigrette. They also offer the build your own option, where people can uqsetheir creativity and imagination, to create their fusion of fresh ingredients and various flavors.

Burn adds that “there is no hamburger without its fries” and that in search of an iconic option they selected Belgian Style fries that are fried two to three times at different temperatures to achieve a point of ideal cooking in which they are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The potatoes are served in a cone and can be accompanied with various spices and sauces. Additionally, they have a varied menu of tapas and appetizers.

As for drinks, they offer shakes called Crazy Shakes of various flavors decorated with sponge cake and others ingredients at the top. They will also have available craft beers, house cocktails and wines that can be also enjoy in the seats located outside the restaurant.

The kitchen of the establishment is an important part of the experience and is completely open with the focus of project transparency, so that diners can see the process of preparing the dishes. In addition, the design of a cow with a monocular, in reference to bourgeois cows and in honor of the name of the restaurant, accentuate the space.

“In Puerto Rico we distinguish ourselves for our creativity, for putting our distinctive touch on everything, from the music to food. Contemplating that our flagship dish is the hamburger, that it is already a universal dish, and that In La Burguesía creativity stands out, we serve it in a unique and special way; that’s the essential part of ourPuerto Rican idiosyncrasy,” mentioned Burn.

“We are excited to be part of such an innovative project integrating such an interesting concept. It was a whole process,that is why we are proud of the result and ready so that all who visit us can enjoy every detail of this gastronomic experience ”mentioned Carlos González, consulting partner of La Burguesía.

The concept will occupy approximately 2,300 square feet, projects a potential capacity of 93 people and it will generate approximately 35 jobs. Aligned to the most recent executive order, it will operate every day from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM and will soon expand their hours to include lunch service.

Aligned with the DISTRO T-Mobile staggered pre-opening plan, La Burguesía joins the openings of the Aloft Hotel and the restaurants Barullo Taberna Española, Lupe Reyes and Sazón Cocina Criolla.
