The first edition of the Puerto Rico Burger Fest will take place on Saturday February 15 from 3-10pm Eco’s Sports Park in San Juan
The organizers of the event promise festival goers the best hamburgers on the island and the chance to vote for ‘The People’s Award’ for the best burger.
The The Puerto Rico Burger Fest is expected to feature around 25 local restaurants and chefs offering their takes on what makes a great hamburger hoping to win the coveted award of ‘Best Burger” as voted by attendees and also a select panel of judges.
Restaurants participating in The Puerto Rico Burger Fest include: AirBuns Burger, Burger Lab, Burgers & Waffles, BRGR Shop, Dondesea, El Truco de Guin, HP Tavern, Little Taste of Heaven, Mochilero, Puttanesca, Senderos, Waldos Food Truck, Xtreme Burguers, Pa’l Hamburger, Buns, Cosechas, Koko’h Burgers, Parada del Sabor, Lucky Black, On the Road, Fillie’s, and La Local.
Comida Restaurativa and Maui will also be present at the festival showcasing plant-based burgers for vegans and folk interested in non meat alternatives,.
Along with all the different varieties of hamburgers, festival goers will also enjoy live music, games and activities for the whole family.
Admission to the festival costs $11 and all the sliders will have a fixed cost of $3
