Festival Gastronómico Porta del Sol 2018

Foodies, the 2018 Festival Gastronómico Porta del So will take place in Mayaguez from June 16 – 18.

The three day festival is a great way to enjoy amazing dishes from the region’s top chefs as well as internationally renowned chefs.

The chefs will be taking part in the various events throughout the weekend,

Friday June 16, Clandestine Dinner Party, 6pm – Midnight Parque Litoral, Mayaguez

Only 50 places will be available for this kick off event of the Festival Gastronómico Porta del Sol. The Clandestine Dinner Party will offer diners a spectacular evening full of surprises, featuring some of Puerto Rico’s top chefs along with invited chefs from outside of the island. Sauces will be the protagonist of each dish and these will be paired with special chosen wines.

Saturday June 17, Porta del Sol Gastronomic Event, 6pm – Midnight Parque Litoral, Mayaguez

This is the main event for the weekend featuring unlimited tastings from around 40 restaurants, with live music, guest chefs and more.

Sunday June 18, Father’s Day Brunch, 10am – 3pm Plaza de las Banderas, Parque Litoral Mayaguez

In honor of Father’s Day a special brunch event will take place featuring the guest chefs from the festival. Brunch dishes will be priced in the $8 – 10 range. There will be live music and more to mark this special day
