Sunday May 7: Tito’s SunnySide Brunch & Picnic to benefit the Humane Society of Puerto Rico
Good vodka is shared with good friends … and there is no better friend than a pet. True to its commitment to animal and pet protection, Tito’s Handmade Vodka celebrates the second edition of Tito’s Sunny Side Brunch & Picnic, a fundraising activity that benefits the Humane Society of Puerto Rico (formerly the Society for the Protection of Animals).
This unique activity will take place on Sunday, May 7, at 10:30 am at the Museo de Arte de Puerto Rico, and will feature the culinary creations of the renowned Chef Martín Louzao, owner of the restaurants Nonna, Touro, Panka and Finca. Musical entertainment will be provided by Jorge Bebo Rivera, Lizbeth Roman, Los Bronson and DJ Davey.
The day can not be complete without the company of our faithful companions, who can accompany their owners to an unparalleled picnic. Pets will have access to the garden of the Museo de Arte de Puerto Rico, which will have unique space designated for the enjoyment of all.
This is a brunch like no other. El Tito’s Sunny Side Brunch & Picnic offers three brunch sessions in the garden area and the restaurant of the Museo de Arte de Puerto Rico in Santurce.
The first session is from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and the menu is a sampling of two courses of the Nonna Cocina Rustica restaurant (donation of $30pp).
The second session is from 12:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with “picnic box” of Finca restaurant and combo of Panka restaurant (both for $20pp donation);
The third and last round is from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm, with Touro Bar’s Tapas menu (donation of $35pp).
The entrance to the museum garden is completely free for people wishing to attend to listen to music, and enjoy the variety of drinks made with Tito’s Handmade Vodka this day. Tickets are available at Gustazos.com.
“With Tito’s Sunny Side Brunch & Picnic brings to Puerto Rico the legacy of the relationship between the brand and the pets. Our founder, Tito Beveridge, is a true ‘dog lover’ and one of the main values of the brand is the protection of animals, in recognition of the happiness that puppies and kittens provide us. The goal is to raise funds to support the work of the Humane Society of Puerto Rico, which does so much for animals on our island, “said Álvaro Rodríguez Suárez, manager V. Suárez & amp; Co.
Maritza Rodríguez, executive director of Humane Society of Puerto Rico, expressed great gratitude for the initiative of Tito’s Handmade Vodka. “The commitment that the brand has to this cause is undeniable and for us it is an honor to be able to count on the support of companies and leading brands like Tito’s. These alliances with responsible corporate citizens are instrumental to the continuity of the services we provide on the island, “he said.
For a good cause.
The Humane Society of Puerto Rico (HSPR) has served the Puerto Rican community for more than fifty years. HSPR operates a facility that houses animals for adoption, as well as lost animals and accepts unwanted animals. It also maintains a preventive health clinic where sterilization services, low-cost vaccination and basic clinical services are provided. The Humane Society of Puerto Rico is the only hostel in its category in the metropolitan area.
